YES??
Australia is one of the largest producers of gold in the world.
If you ever thought that gold mining is so fascinating,
THIS WILL BLOW YOUR MIND!

Does money grow on trees? Well, it doesn’t! NO
What about gold on trees? YES (sort of, but yes)
Visible ONLY through a microscope, very small gold nuggets are literary found on Eucalyptus tree-leaves in Australia
It takes about 500 trees in order to extract about 2 to 4 grams of pure gold
Why is this so exciting? Who wants to work on 500 trees to produce enough gold to make a pendant? Diamonds not included
The process to extract the microscopic nuggets is an extremely complex process, so in order to extract just a few grams of gold would cost $1000 of dollars, so it really would not make sense, but it is used as an indication as the leaves are telling us there is something much bigger below the trees.
The eucalyptus or gum trees have the deepest roots found in Australia!
Since it can be so dry in the area, for survival, the tree roots go very deep to find some water, as deep as 20 to 50 meters deep (65 to 165 feet)
So deep, that some trees strike gold
Its deep roots act as hydraulic-pumps, sucking up water, and if there are any mineral deposits beneath the tree, they get sucked up along with the water, gold is actually toxic to the eucalyptus, so the tree wants to discharge them as soon as possible by transporting the minerals out to the leaves, where they eventually fall out, so it is a way to reject the unwanted material.
It is more than an indication to the scientists that gold, a large amount of gold is found under the ground!
That was amazing and interesting to know? Well, it is, and FYI, in Canada, pine trees are indications of a gold mine in the territory, this is the new revolution to precious gold mining with minimum harm to nature.
